Complicated life…

So here’s what has been going on lately:

  1. My summer job ends in the end of August and I’m applying to ton of jobs.
  2. I get no interviews but keep on applying.
  3. Out of a blue I’m asked if I’d like to fill a temp position in a library I applied to month or month and a half earlier.
  4. I decide to take that offer but agree to not start until the beginning of October.
  5. Bit over a week before I get a call asking if I’d like to come to an interview for a permanent job (much closer to home, may I say).
  6. I go to said interview and it goes well.
  7. The interviewers say that they won’t do the decision until several days later than when I’m supposed to star the temp job.
  8. I have to call the temp place and push back my start there with a week. (Luckily they are nice people and OK with this.)

Oh, and add on top of that a thesis that is falling behind schedule…

So yeah, that’s what been going on with me lately. How have you been?

News flash: No good actionplan goes unpunished

I actually decided to take initiative for once and ask my friend about that friend of his and what happens? He brings his other friends along. No change in hell I could have gone ahead with my inquiries. Crap, now I either need to be very direct with my question (which sucks) or drop it all together (which sucks too).
